Hughson (Calif.).
After trailing 21-7 at the half, the Huskies went ahead on a touchdown with under a minute left in the third.
Ripon saw its 14-point halftime lead fall to one entering the fourth.
Josh McCreath played well for RHS in the victory. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored nine touchdowns on the season.
Hughson came in giving up 14.0 points per game this season. HHS struggled against the Indians' offense, which entered the game scoring 46.2 points per game.
When the two teams played each other last season, Ripon came away with a 34-12 victory.
In a Trans Valley game next week Ripon (7-0) takes on Hilmar, and Hughson (3-3) will go up against Orestimba also in a Trans Valley game.
