Softball Recap: Mountainside Takes a Loss

Mountainside lost to Kingman Academy back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolves lost 22-1 to the Tigers.

Mountainside's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Kingman Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountainside will welcome Tonopah Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kingman Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against St. John Paul II Catholic at 3:45 p.m. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 14.8 runs per game this season.
