Volleyball Recap: Dominguez Comes Up Short

Dominguez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 32nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Savanna Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Saturday.

Dominguez's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Savanna, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-25.

Looking ahead, Dominguez will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gahr at 4:45 p.m. As for Savanna, they will venture away from home to take on Magnolia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
