Soccer Recap: Strasburg Comes Up Short

Strasburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Clarke County Eagles, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Clarke County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 last Wednesday.

Strasburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Clarke County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Strasburg is set to take on their familiar foe Page County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Clarke County will square off against rival Luray at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
