Basketball Recap: Bridgeport Takes a Loss

Bridgeport lost against Castleberry back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bridgeport Bulls fell 54-45 to the Castleberry Lions. The Bulls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bridgeport's defeat dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Castleberry, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-17.

Bridgeport and Castleberry could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Bridgeport will face off against Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 609 places (807 vs. 198). Meanwhile, Castleberry (ranked 883rd) will meet Krum (ranked 187th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
