Basketball Recap: Lincoln Triumphs

Lincoln's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They snuck past the Seattle Academy Cardinals with a 61-56 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-56 back in December of 2024.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 8-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Seattle Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Lincoln will head out to square off against Ballard at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Ballard will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lincoln surely won't give up without a fight. As for Seattle Academy, they will be playing at home against Cleveland at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Seattle Academy is facing Cleveland at the right time seeing as Cleveland is stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
