Soccer Game Preview: Westwood vs. Williams Field

The Westwood Warriors will challenge the Williams Field Black Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Williams Field took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Westwood, who comes in off a win.

Last Monday, it was close, but Westwood sidestepped Queen Creek for a 2-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Williams Field managed to keep up with Campo Verde until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Williams Field came up short against Campo Verde, falling 3-0. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, the Black Hawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Williams Field has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Westwood, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Westwood took their win against Williams Field in their previous matchup back in January of 2016 by a conclusive 5-1. Does Westwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Williams Field turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
