Baseball Recap: Exeter's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Exeter managed to slip by Diamond the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Exeter came up short against Diamond on Monday, falling 9-1. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Exeter saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was K Crowe, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Jax Brock also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Exeter's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-4. As for Diamond, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.
