Hannibal can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Saturday. They came out on top against the Whitfield Warriors by a score of 2-0. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Hannibal's offense was headlined by Malia Stolte and Lyla Dorsey, who picked up six kills apiece. Stolte really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 11. Tessa Janes controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Hannibal's win bumped their record up to 13-5-1. As for Whitfield, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Hannibal wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Liberty on the 27th. As for Whitfield, they will face off against Veritas Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
