Football Recap: Michigan City Starts Season with Win at Home

Michigan City took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the Hanover Central Wildcats 31-0.

Michigan City had a senior duo take command as Trinaston Hart threw for 103 yards and one TD on only nine passes and Zaire McKinney picked up 103 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Michigan City and Hanover Central could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Wolves will take on Lafayette Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (85 vs. 35). Meanwhile, Hanover Central (ranked 87th) will meet Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (ranked 12th) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
