Grossmont has gone 8-2 against El Capitan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Foothillers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vaqueros at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Grossmont and four for El Capitan.

Grossmont fell victim to Granite Hills and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 14-0 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, El Capitan came up short against Helix on Thursday and fell 4-1.

El Capitan's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Grossmont, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.

Everything went Grossmont's way against El Capitan when the teams last played back in May of 2018, as Grossmont made off with a 14-0 victory. Do the Foothillers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vaqueros turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
