Passers beware: Adrian Hernandez came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made five total tackles, but sadly Connally still had to take a 61-34 loss at the hands of Athens. We hope Hernandez's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Hernandez and Connally will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on China Spring at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. Despite Hernandez's best efforts to the contrary, the Cadets will head into their next match having dropped three straight contests. Will October 10 be the turning point?
