Meanwhile, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Hustlers onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. Considering the Tigers have won six games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Melbourne Central Catholic with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Audrey Tracy (2), Catherine McCarthy, and Greer Reynolds.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those ten contests. As for Edgewood, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3-3.

Edgewood beat Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy 4-2 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Edgewood since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
