Basketball Recap: Summit Finds Home Court Redemption Against Bend

There's no place like home for Summit, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 53-31 margin over the Bend Lava Bears on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Storm, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Summit's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Bend, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

When Summit and Bend next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Summit will take on Caldera and their four-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bend will try to stop Redmond's eight-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
