Basketball Game Preview: Hutchinson Tigers vs. Southwest Christian Stars

The Hutchinson Tigers will head out to square off against the Southwest Christian Stars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hutchinson has now lost 16 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 12.

Last Thursday, Hutchinson came up short against Holy Family Catholic and fell 57-49.

Meanwhile, Southwest Christian narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past St. Croix Lutheran 64-61. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Stars.

Southwest Christian pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Hutchinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.

Hutchinson ended up a good deal behind Southwest Christian in their previous meeting back in January, losing 74-57. Can Hutchinson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
