Peterson came up big in Osawatomie's 6-0 defeat
Osawatomie was sadly handed a defeat on Thursday, but Cooper Peterson did his best to prevent it. Peterson was dynamite, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk).
Even though Peterson couldn't lead Osawatomie over Wellsville, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Osawatomie has some work to do to even out the 1-7-1 series between these two since April of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
