Volleyball Recap: Kirkwood Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Kirkwood came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins dating back to last season, and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Christian County Colonels.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Kirkwood got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 17-25, 15-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kirkwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jada Taylor, who had 15 assists and six digs. Jaydah Jordan was another key player, getting eight digs and two aces.

Kirkwood's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Kirkwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Owensboro Catholic on the 23rd. Christian County has also already played their next game (against Calloway County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
