Soccer Recap: Greenfield-Central Starts Season with Victory Against South Dearborn

Greenfield-Central had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the South Dearborn Knights with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday. The score was close at halftime, but Greenfield-Central pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Grayson Young and Cale Caldwell scored all three of Greenfield-Central's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenfield-Central will head out to face off against Batesville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Dearborn, they will venture away from home to square off against Greensburg at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
