Oak Hill Academy Red waltzed into their match on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Tri-Cities Christian Eagles by a score of 80-71. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 72-65 back in November of 2024.

Tri-Cities Christian's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Peters, who on his way to 17 points and five boards. Peters is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 55% in the last three games he's played. Ashby Chadwick was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Oak Hill Academy Red's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.5 points over those games. As for Tri-Cities Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-12.

Oak Hill Academy Red has already played their next game, a 61-54 victory against Winston Salem Christian on the 15th. Tri-Cities Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tournament Opponent at 12:00 p.m. on March 5th.
