Northwest Whitfield is a perfect 3-0 against Woodland since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Northwest Whitfield Bruins will venture away from home to face off against the Woodland Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Woodland will be up against a hot Northwest Whitfield squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. Northwest Whitfield's defense stepped up to hand Heritage a 6-0 shutout on Thursday. The score was close at the half, but the Bruins pulled away in the second half with five goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Woodland made sure to put some goals up on the board against Cass on Friday. They blew past the Colonels 5-0. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Colonels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Northwest Whitfield's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three matches. As for Woodland, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Northwest Whitfield took their victory against Woodland in their previous matchup back in February of 2021 by a conclusive 6-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northwest Whitfield since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
