Archbishop Moeller is 8-1-1 against St. Xavier since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Fighting Crusaders are taking a road trip to challenge the Bombers at 7:00 p.m.

On Monday, Archbishop Moeller didn't have quite enough to beat Milford and fell 3-2. Archbishop Moeller haven't had much luck with Milford recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Gavin Young and Sean Herzig scored both of Archbishop Moeller's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, St. Xavier's game on Saturday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They put the hurt on Lakota East with a sharp 4-1 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering St. Xavier's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 30th, while Lakota East are ranked 211th).

St. Xavier's win bumped their record up to 8-3-3. As for Archbishop Moeller, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-2.

Archbishop Moeller skirted past St. Xavier 1-0 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fighting Crusaders since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
