Ontario has gone 8-2 against Lexington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Warriors will square off against the Minutemen at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Ontario sitting on three straight victories and Lexington on five.

Ontario is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Celina a 6-0 shutout. Ontario might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Celina with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hattie Yugovich (3), Addi Pittman (2), and Reese Miller.

Meanwhile, Lexington's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Maumee by a score of 2-0. Given Lexington's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 51st, while Maumee are ranked 326th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lexington's win bumped their record up to 13-4-3. As for Ontario, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4-1.

Ontario couldn't quite get it done against Lexington in their previous matchup back in August as they fell 4-2. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
