Adams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 40-7 loss at the hands of the North Mesquite Stallions.

Leading North Mesquite to victory were Julien Simpson and Tyedrick Hamilton. Simpson rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, while Hamilton rushed for 158 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Simpson got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 64 yards.
Adams' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Mesquite, the win snapped their losing streak at 11 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-2 record.
Adams will be playing in front of their home fans against White at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
