Soccer Game Preview: Stevenson vs. King's Way Christian

The Stevenson Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the King's Way Christian Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Stevenson is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Seton Catholic on Thursday. The Bulldogs and the Cougars finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, King's Way Christian strolled into their game on Thursday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. They never let Fort Vancouver get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Give King's Way Christian's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

King's Way Christian's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three matches. With that draw, Stevenson's record moves to 2-3-1.

Stevenson might still be hurting after the 5-0 defeat they got from King's Way Christian when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
