Vista Ridge dropped down to 20-17 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Vandegrift Vipers by a score of 3-2. The Rangers were not able to make up for their loss to the Vipers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Ella Prewitt paced Vista Ridge's offense, picking up 15 kills. Prewitt got some help from Lilly Gowan and her 26 assists. Abby Norling controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

As for Vandegrift, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-18 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since August 16th.

Vandegrift's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamison Smith, who had seven digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Smith a new career-high in assists (five).

Vista Ridge has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Hutto on the 26th. As for Vandegrift, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Round Rock Westwood on the 26th.
