Volleyball Game Preview: Blackman Blaze vs. Page Patriots

The Blackman Blaze will be taking part in a tournament against the Page Patriots at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Blackman is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Tennessee's top teams: Page, who was ranked fifth at the time (Blackman was ranked seventh). The Blaze fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Blaze have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Blackman better focus on containing Carlos Hernandez and Malachi Carter as the pair were huge in Page's win. Hernandez had 12 digs and one assist, while Carter had six digs and three aces. That's the most digs Hernandez has posted over his last seven matchups. Landon Boyd also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Page's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Blackman, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
