Basketball Recap: Piggott Takes a Loss

If Piggott was feeling good fresh off their 42-21 takedown of Bay last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Piggott Mohawks took a 52-34 bruising from the Buffalo Island Central Mustangs on Friday. The Mohawks haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Piggott's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Buffalo Island Central, they pushed their record up to 18-13 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Piggott does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Buffalo Island Central, they have already played their next game, a 54-40 win against East Poinsett County on the 22nd.
