It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bonita Vista had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 73-35 victory over the Patrick Henry Patriots. The Barons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Bonita Vista to victory were Aaron Owens and Jerry Stokes. Owens posted 25 points, while Stokes put up 22 points. Owens is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in each of the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Treyvon Davis, who scored eight points.

When it comes to explaining why Patrick Henry lost, don't look at Alexander Newlands. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 13 points and 15 boards.

Bonita Vista pushed their record up to 21-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.2 points over those games. As for Patrick Henry, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-20.

Looking ahead, Bonita Vista will challenge Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Madison will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Bonita Vista surely won't give up without a fight. Patrick Henry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
