Softball Recap: Walker Wolverines vs. Sprayberry Yellow Jackets
Walker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolverines of the 6-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2018.
Walker saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Dege, who went 2-for-3 with a stolen base.
Even though they lost, Walker didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with six strikeouts. That's the most strikeouts they've earned since back in August of 2023.
