Softball Recap: Gunnison Valley Bulldogs vs. Duchesne Eagles

Gunnison Valley and Duchesne squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Gunnison Valley had to settle for second. They fell 10-6 to the Duchesne Eagles. Gunnison Valley has struggled against Duchesne recently, as their match on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Rylee Bartholomew made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with a home run and two runs. Khora Marker was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

On Duchesne's side, Claire Anderton was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and a double. Another player making a difference was Kaydence Crum, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
