Recap: Allendale-Fairfax Tigers vs. Loris Lions
On Saturday, Allendale-Fairfax was the victim of a tough 68-43 loss at the hands of Loris. While losing is never fun, Allendale-Fairfax can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while Loris is ranked 115th).
Loris found their leader in underclassman TYLER BROWN, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of KHALIL SHERMAN, who scored 12 points.
Allendale-Fairfax has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Loris, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
Allendale-Fairfax and Whale Branch will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Whale Branch focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday. As for Loris, they will head out on the road to face off against Green Sea Floyds at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Green Sea Floyds will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
