Upperman has gone 8-2 against Cumberland County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bees will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jets at 5:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

While Upperman's victory against Smith County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bees had just enough and edged out the Owls 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Bees in their matchups with the Owls: they've now won six in a row.

Julian Llano spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Meanwhile, Cumberland County fell victim to Carter and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Green Hornets, falling 12-0.

Cumberland County's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Upperman, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.

Upperman took their win against Cumberland County in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Bees repeat their success, or do the Jets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
