Recap: Carnegie Wildcats vs. Mountain View-Gotebo Tigers
In what's become a running theme this season, the Carnegie Wildcats gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. Everything went their way against Mountain View-Gotebo as Carnegie made off with a 60-34 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Carnegie has posted since December 12, 2023.
Jalen Wallace was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with eight assists and three steals. He hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Paden Jackson, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Despite the loss, Mountain View-Gotebo still got an impressive performance from Jackson, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Carnegie and bumps their season record up to 13-5. As for Mountain View-Gotebo, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
Carnegie will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Shattuck at 6:30 p.m. on January 25th. As for Mountain View-Gotebo, they will face off against Corn Bible Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
