It was a good run, but Butternut unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a hard 60-46 fall against the Solon Springs Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Midgets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-43 back in December of 2024.

Butternut's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9. As for Solon Springs, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Butternut won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Mercer at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Solon Springs, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll square off against Lakeland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
