Volleyball Recap: Aurora Falls to Buffalo in First Game of Season

Aurora unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Buffalo Bison on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-20.

Buffalo can attribute much of their success to Natalie Burkle, who had 12 digs. Those 12 digs gave Burkle a new career-high.

Buffalo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-1-2 record this season.

Aurora will venture away from home to challenge Clever at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buffalo, they will square off against El Dorado Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
