Tait Reynolds Dazzles in Queen Creek Win
Starting off the list is Queen Creek's Tait Reynolds, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Reynolds rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 71 yards.
Reynolds is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Red Mountain on Friday. Simon Lopez was instrumental in extending Red Mountain's winning streak to seven on Friday. Lopez was dynamite, rushing for 85 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also throwing for 235 yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
Red Mountain's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Lopez and Red Mountain will venture away from home to face off against Queen Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
