Baseball Recap: Orangefield Triumphs

Orangefield owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They came out on top against the Rusk Eagles by a score of 4-0. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Orangefield's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cole Sanches, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Orangefield's victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1. As for Rusk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Orangefield will face off against Port Neches-Groves at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rusk, they will be taking part in a tournament against Canton at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
