It was a proper cat-fight when Pennington faced off against Cleveland on Tuesday. Everything went the Pennington Tigers' way against the Cleveland Panthers as the Pennington Tigers made off with a 15-5 win. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Colton Walston was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring four runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Pennington let Josiah Coover and Noah McClendon run wild. Coover scored three runs while going 3-for-3, while McClendon scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, Coover posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Eli Butler also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Pennington's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Cleveland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
