River Addison and Loic Guegan provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Brighton. The connection went for 80 yards, the longest such play in 5A North Metro this season.

Fairview was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Fairview 51-29. The Knights came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 41 last week.

Fairview's dynamic duo of Johnny Feauto and Cole Scheifele proved tough for Lakewood to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Feauto threw for 433 yards and four touchdowns and Scheifele had 144 yards receiving. Sam Martin helped Fairview's passing attack out by catching 12 balls for 140 yards.

Dominic Martinez was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 119 yards as Pomona lost to the Tigers. Konner Burns also contributed to the rushing game with 64 yards on the ground.

The Knights' Feauto and Martin have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Feauto has thrown for 1595 yards this season, while Martin, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 35 catches for 531 yards. Phydell Paris from Legacy leads the league in rushing with 475 yards.

The marquee game in 5A North Metro this week will be the clash between Fairview and Ralston Valley. The Knights comes into the matchup ranked 25th in the state, while the Mustangs ranks third.

Ralston Valley was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to first in the league.
