Flint Hill suffered a rough 58-38 defeat at the hands of Georgetown Visitation Prep on Monday. Flint Hill has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Flint Hill lost, one person who can't be blamed is Raigan Mccalla. Despite the final result, she scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Mccalla is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last eight games she's played.
Flint Hill's defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Georgetown Visitation Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.
Flint Hill will be playing at home against Sidwell Friends at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Sidwell Friends' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups. As for Georgetown Visitation Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Bullis at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Bullis presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Georgetown Visitation Prep in their respective states (Bullis is ranked third in Maryland, while Georgetown Visitation Prep is ranked 33rd in District of Columbia).
