Basketball Recap: Big Pine Warriors vs. Lee Vining Tigers

After losing to the Lee Vining Tigers the last time they met, the Big Pine Warriors decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Big Pine strolled past the Tigers with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 43-29.

Big Pine found their leader in underclassman Noah Ericson, who scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ericson has scored all season.

Big Pine's victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8. As for Lee Vining, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Big Pine won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Cubs at 5:30 p.m. on January 31st. Owens Valley is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Lee Vining will take on the Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
