Volleyball Recap: Clear Creek Comes Up Short

Clear Creek lost against Round Rock back in August of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Dragons. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Round Rock's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aubrey Goode, who had 17 assists and three digs. Addie Seymour also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Clear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Round Rock, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Clear Creek has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Incarnate Word on the 21st. As for Round Rock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Canyon on the 21st.
