Coahulla Creek won the last time they faced Union County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Colts sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Panthers.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (62-53) Coahulla Creek actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 26-24, 15-13.

Coahulla Creek was led to victory by Natalie Snow and Reece Elliott. Snow had 11 digs and two aces, while Elliott had 14 assists.

Despite the loss, Union County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Samantha Combs had ten digs and four aces.

Coahulla Creek now has a winning record of 19-18. As for Union County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-13.

Looking ahead, Coahulla Creek will take on Darlington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union County, they will welcome Stephens County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
