Basketball Recap: Apache Skates Past Lookeba-Sickles with Ease

After losing to Lookeba-Sickles the last time they met, Apache decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Apache Warriors simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Lookeba-Sickles Panthers 80-35. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Apache has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38 points. As for Lookeba-Sickles, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.

Apache and Lookeba-Sickles could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Apache will take on Cyril at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday down 188 places (271 vs. 83). Similarly, Lookeba-Sickles (ranked 361st) will meet Hobart (ranked 140th) at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
