Bloomfield is 9-1 against Shiprock since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. It was a proper cat-fight when Bloomfield duked it out withAztec on Thursday. Bloomfield snuck past Aztec with a 39-34 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Meanwhile, Shiprock suffered their biggest defeat since February 23, 2024 on Thursday. They were beaten by Kirtland Central 56-19. The matchup marked the Chieftains' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bloomfield's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Shiprock, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Everything went Bloomfield's way against Shiprock in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Bloomfield made off with a 56-30 victory. Will Bloomfield repeat their success, or does Shiprock have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
