Johnson has gone a perfect 10-0 against SA Roosevelt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Johnson Jaguars will face off against the SA Roosevelt Rough Riders at 7:00 p.m. Johnson will be strutting in after a win while SA Roosevelt will be coming in after a defeat.

Johnson is headed into the game having not lost since January 21 and will look to keep things rolling. They had just enough and edged Brandeis out 2-1 on Monday.

Meanwhile, SA Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to Reagan. While losing is never fun, the Rough Riders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 606th, while the Rattlers are ranked 54th).

Johnson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for SA Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Johnson took their victory against SA Roosevelt in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 7-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Johnson since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
