Baseball Recap: Triangle Math & Science Starts Season with Victory Against NCSSM: Durham

Triangle Math & Science gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They skirted past the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns 4-2.

Aayan Subzwari made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). Subzwari was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

NCSSM: Durham's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Triangle Math & Science wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 15-2 defeat against Eno River Academy on the 28th. As for NCSSM: Durham, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-6 loss against Durham School of the Arts on the 3rd.
