Basketball Game Preview: Carrollton Trojans vs. New Manchester Jaguar

Having just played yesterday, the Carrollton Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the New Manchester Jaguar at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Carrollton is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Carrollton ended up a good deal behind Chapel Hill and lost 70-51. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 407th, while the Panthers are ranked 44th).

Meanwhile, New Manchester slipped by Carver 77-76 on Monday.

New Manchester's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Carrollton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Carrollton beat New Manchester 62-53 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carrollton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
