Cactus Shadows waltzed into their contest on Friday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They put the hurt on the St. Mary's Knights with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-19.

Brycen Bollwitt paced Cactus Shadows' offense, picking up 14 kills. Bollwitt got some help from Blake Hemming and his 29 assists. Bollwitt was also solid from the service line: he led the team with nine aces.

Cactus Shadows pushed their record up to 18-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for St. Mary's, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Cactus Shadows has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Prescott on the 28th. As for St. Mary's, they will be playing at home against Estrella Foothills at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
