Basketball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The contest between them and the Pioneer Pioneers didn't end well, with the Lincoln Railsplitters falling 50-34. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Railsplitters this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-24 back in December of 2024.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Pioneer, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 45-29 defeat against Skyline on the 31st. Pioneer has also already played their next contest (against Bedford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
